Detailed Itinerary
At 3:00 am, the driver guide from Authentic Africa Safaris will pick you up from Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali and drive you crossing to Uganda Via the Cyanika border in Kisoro district. The drive time from Kigali to Bwindi Forest is roughly 5 hours. Arrive in Rushaga sector south of Bwindi impenetrable Forest National park to join other travelers for the pre trekking briefing. After the briefing, start up a hike uphill in search of the allocated mountain gorilla family. The trekking time can be as short as 30 minutes or longer you to 8 hours before you meet the gorillas. However, despite the long hours of hiking, travelers are 99% sure of meeting the endangered gorillas. You will spend an hour with the gorillas to learn and experience the human-like characters of mountain gorillas in their families. A face-to-face encounter with the endangered gorillas is the best wildlife experience in the world.
After one hour with the gorillas, you will hike back, receive your trekking certificate, and transfer your driver guide to Kigali for your connecting flight.
