Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be picked from your Hotel in Kampala/Entebbe and embark on a journey by road to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the west of Uganda. The beautiful countryside will be your major highlight of the day as you watch the beautiful Greenland through the small towns and trading centers as you approach the park in the evening hours. There will be stopovers at the equator on the way for a memorable picture moment and a lunch break in Lyantonde at a tourist hotel before proceeding to arrive in Kasese in the evening hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Game viewing and Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel
After breakfast at the lodge, your driver will pick you up and set off to the open savanna for a special morning game drive through the entire park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is known to be one of Uganda’s largest Parks in Uganda with countless wildlife species including the big 5. This park is home to the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector where they are seen most. Look out for the elephants, warthogs, leopards, hyenas, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jackson’s heartbeest, giraffes, and buffaloes among others. Break off for lunch and launch the boat cruise in the afternoon at the famous Kazinga Channel. You will catch up with schools of Hippos, and the Nile crocodiles as they sunbathe and devour the helpless animals. Kazinga channel is a link between lakes Edward and George. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, you will start your journey returning to Kampala, you will have a short stopover at the Igongo cultural Center in Mbarara city for a cultural experience and a lunch break. You will then proceed to Kampala arriving in the evening hours.
