Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
You will be received by our professional guide on arrival at the airport in Tanzania and be briefed shortly about the trip and transfer to the Hotel in Arusha to rest after the long flight. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Fly from Arusha to Serengeti
After breakfast at the lodge, you will start your day with a flight from Arusha airport to Serengeti airstrip where you will find your guide/driver on standby waiting for you. You will then be treated to a nice lunch and then launch an afternoon game drive for a chance to watch the great annual wildebeest migration, lions, zebras, cheetahs, leopards and several antelopes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Full day Experience at Serengeti National Park
After the morning breakfast at the lodge, you will get into Serengeti National Park to explore the beautiful wildlife in the morning hours, the early risers like the lions and cheetahs are seen hunting while the vegetarians are very active feeding on the grass. You will then break off for lunch and return to catch up with annual migration of the wildebeests depending on the season. This is normally the major highlight of the day as you watch the millions of wildlife crossing to another country for better pastures. You will later head to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After the morning breakfast, you will head out to the Ngorongoro Crater which is one of Tanzania’s largest Inactive caldera. It is home to a variety of wildlife like the lions, jackals, hyenas, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, black Rhinos and several bird species. Descending 600m to the Ngorongoro Crater is a major highlight as you enjoy the game viewing experience in this large volcanic caldera. Return to the lodge in the evening for relaxation. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Return to Arusha
After breakfast in the morning, you will spend the entire morning at leisure, check out of the lodge and drive off to the airport for departure.
