Day 1: Pick up -City tour & transfer to Akagera Park
The driver guide from Authentic Africa Safaris will pick you up from Kigali airport of your hotel in Kigali and start off the 3 Days tour. If you wish and time allows, have a brief tour in Kigali city to explore the beauty and cleanness of this small city. Visit the Kimironko market to buy fresh fruits and foods, Kigali genocide memorial center where the remains of the victims’ of 1994 genocide were buried and other interesting places in Kigali. Thereafter, proceed on a drive eastward to Akagera National Park home to the big five game. Spend the rest of the evening and night at your lodge
Day 2: Game Viewing & Boat cruise
You shall have an early morning game drive to catch up with early risers in Akagera National Parks. Most wild animals prefer feeding and hunting in the morning before the sun set when they retire for day rest. Expect to see a variety of wild animals which call this savannah park home! Some of the wild animals to see in Akagera National Park include Lions, Leopards, Zebras, Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Waterbucks, Gazelles, Warthogs, Impalas, duikers and Topis among others. Learn about the lifestyles of different wild animals, take pictures and have fun. After game wathcing, drive back to the lodge, refresh and enjoy your late breakfast as you chill waiting for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Lake Ihema for a boat cruise. Enjoy a cruise on this lake with great views of Rwanda’s rolling hills. And wild animals in the park. Also, the shores of Lake Ihema shelter numerous bird which include African Fish Eagle, African Jacana, African harrier hawk and Herons among others. Overnight at your lodge
Day 3: Departure
