Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is Uganda’s premier gorilla trekking destination sitting in the extreme southwestern part of the country. The park occupies a small area of 331sq.kms but protects 459 of the world’s 1063 mountain gorillas and 20 habituated gorilla groups are open so far for trekking which is done from the 4 regions; Ruhija, Buhoma, Rushaga and Nkuringo.
Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve and game viewing destination sitting in Narok County. It sits on an extensive area of up to 1510sq.kms and protects all the big five game besides its famous wildebeest.

Detailed itinerary of the 5 days Kenya + Bwindi Tour
Day 1 of the 5 days Kenya + Bwindi Tour, travel to Bwindi
Day one of the 5 days Kenya + Bwindi tour will be for a warm welcome and transfer from Entebbe/Kampala hotel to Bwindi National Park 8-9 hours. You will be driven in 4WD vehicle, and taking on the Kampala-Mbarara-Kabale route which lets you make a stopover at Equator crossing, lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre. Thereafter, you will be proceeding to Bwindi and as soon as you reach, check into the accommodation for evening refreshment.

Day 2 of the 5 days: Gorilla trekking + Visit Batwa Community
Have breakfast early, after, board your vehicle for transfer to the briefing visitor center where you will meet the park official. Get insight into the dos and don’ts for gorilla trekking, a gorilla family to be assigned and a park guide to lead you. At 8:00 am, be ready to set off for 2-6 hours of looking for a gorilla family and guarantee of one hour for a face-to-face encounter upon finding your family. Retreat with a park guide while sighting for more primates, birds, flora and at the briefing point, be awarded a gorilla trekking certificate before you are dropped off at your accommodation. Enjoy lunch, have some refreshments and later, get the best of Batwa encounter on a cultural walk.

Day 3: Fly to Masai Mara from Entebbe
After breakfast, you will be picked up by driver, dropped off to the Kihihi airstrip for a departure flight to Entebbe Airport using Aerolink. You will have another flight from Entebbe to Masai Mara Reserve in Magical Kenya, East Africa.

Day 4: A full day expedition at Masai Mara-enjoying game viewing
A full-day expedition at Masai Mara starts early on day 4 of the 5 days Kenya + Bwindi Tour after breakfast. Enjoy the vast Mara savanna plains while on a game drive which takes you through unforgettable wildlife encounters from wildebeest (if you happen to be here from July to October), big five, bird species, etc. The evening game drive begins after lunch break and then returns for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Game drive, a departure from Masai Mara in Narok County
