Authentic Africa Safaris is a locally owned tours and travel company based in Uganda. We offer tailored guided African safari to Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania. Established in 2010, Authentic Africa Safaris has gathered enough travel information and expertise to offer excellent African trips. We train our office and field staff equipping them with all the information they require for our customers satisfaction.
Our Mission
At Authentic Africa Safaris we strive and aim to offer the best of travel experiences for our clients. We highly emphasize professionalism and a transparent touch with our clients to make them feel at home and safe with us. Our field staff (the driver guides) are trained on how to ensure customers satisfaction which has made us one of the best travel operators in Africa.

Vision
Our vision at Authentic Africa Safaris is to become the leading tours and travel company in Africa offering exceptional travel experiences to travelers of all kinds. We partner with Twinomujuni children’s home aiming at improving the livelihoods of the less privileged children in Africa through providing them shelter, school fees and all scholastic materials. Some percentage of the money we earn in tours is therefore channeled to the children’s home

Authentic Africa Safaris is a fully registered company with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau which make us a legal authorized company to run safaris across Africa. We are also members of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (Auto), the body that brings together all tours and travel operators in Uganda.

Booking Terms and conditions
In order to ensure smooth flow of safaris, Authentic Africa Safaris has set booking terms and conditions which guide interactions between clients and us from the time of inquiry to the start and end of the safari. Before confirming any safari with Authentic Africa Safaris, travelers are advised to first read and understand our booking terms and conditions. A confirmation with us proves that a traveler has read and understood the terms and conditions that guide our safari booking.
When a traveler cancels a trip
Should a traveler cancel a trip already booked with us, we require a written cancellation letter giving a reason for cancellation. Authentic Africa Safaris does not cover any losses incurred by a traveler who cancels a trip. However, if you have paid full balance, Authentic Africa safaris can offer you some refund after deducting all the losses incurred to cancellation.
When we cancel the trip
In case Authentic Africa Safaris cancels your trip after you have paid, we offer a full refund of the money you paid. However, if we are forced to cancel your trip due to un avoidable circumstances such as wars, pandemic, diseases and other reasons beyond our control, we offer you chance to book an alternative safari that can cover up your initial payment. If the available alternative trip is cheaper compared to the one you had booked earlier, Authentic Africa Safaris offers you a top pf the balance
About Gorilla & Chimpanzee Permits
Travelers are REMINDED that there is no refund on gorillas and chimpanzee permits. You are informed that after the payment of gorilla permit deposits, permits are removed from the list of available permits. This denies other travelers’ chance to access a permit which is already booked. If you choose to cancel a gorilla or chimpanzee permit, you are not entitled to any refund. However, if you cancel some time to the trekking date, you can be given chance to postpone your trip.
Payments
Upon confirming a safari with us, Authentic Africa Safaris requires at least a 50% deposit. This is half of the total money for the whole trip to be paid by the client. The 50% deposit helps us deposit on your permits in case you want to trek gorillas and chimps and also book your hotels and lodges. It also shows commitment. The balance is required a few weeks to the travel date. Alternatively, you can bring the balance and pay on the first day of the safari
Safari Vehicles
To ensure safe and comfortable movements of our clients, Authentic Africa Safaris has a fleet of safari vehicles. Our extended land cruisers offer you enough leg room and comfort for long safaris. The roof top makes it easy for photography on our game safaris. Our safari vehicles have air conditioners, fridges and are all in good mechanical conditions.
Personal Information
Authentic Africa Safaris can ask you for some personal information when booking. This information is for clarifications and accuracy. Some info that we can ask for include

2. Your National ID if possible
3. Full Names
4. Some pictures especially for the trip. We can use these photos on our website
