Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked from the airport/hotel in Arusha and set off for a journey towards Tarangire National Park. This part is located in the northern parts of Tanzania and is home to a large mammals like the elephants, Lions zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, Rhinos, giraffes, kudus, Hartebeests, and baboons among others. You will arrive in lunch hours at this park, have a meal at the lodge and launch an evening game drive to catch up with this amazing wildlife in the park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After the morning breakfast, you will transfer with your driver to Lake Manyara National Park another home to a variety of wildlife like the Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, wildebeests, zebras, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, cape buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, hippos, baboons, hyenas, cheetahs, mongoose, and honey badger among other species. You will have an afternoon game drive to catchup with these species and many birds. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
You will transfer to the Serengeti National Park through the beautiful country side, you will have a brief stopover at the Ngorongoro crater enjoying great views of this beautiful world wonder. It’s the center of the wildebeest migration that happens annually and depending on the time you visit this park, you will enjoy this breathtaking experience as the Wildebeests and zebras and elands cross the river to the other side in search for better pastures. You retire at the lodge later for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Day 4 and 5 at Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park is home to a variety of mammals including predators like the lions, leopards, cheetah’s, foxes, hyenas, baboons, honey badgers, and over 500 bird species in this park. You will have two days at this park as you explore every corner of this amazing park. Dinner and nights at the lodge.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You will wake up to an early morning game drive to catchup with the early risers like he big cats hunting while the vegetarians are seen feeding to start their day with a meal. You will return to the lodge to have breakfast and check out as you head to Ngorongoro conservation area. This area is known for the largest herds of elephants that are seen all over the park. It is also one of the places where black Rhinos can be seen. The evening game drive will give you the best opportunity to catch up with some of these unique wildlife species. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 7: Ngorongoro crater to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast at the lodge, you will descend to the crater to visit the lakes to have a glimpse at the great concentration of flamingos, and other wildlife. The black Rhinos can also be spotted this morning in company of the zebras, buffaloes, impalas, giraffes, elands and predators like the hyenas. After the exciting moment at the Ngorongoro conservation area, you will drive off to the Lake Eyasi for an exceptional cultural experience. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: Cultural Experience at Lake Eyasi
The hadzabe tribe dominates this area and their exceptional culture will not leave your mind the same. You will start the day with a hot breakfast at the lodge and head out for this exciting trip to explore the beautiful culture of the Hadzabe people. Men are hunters while the women are fruit gatherers as they will be seen showcasing off their skills. You will later proceed to Arusha for departure.
