Day 1 of the 10 Days Kenya & Bwindi safari, Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Day one of the 10 days Kenya + Bwindi safari will be for you to be picked up from Nairobi Capital and driven to Amboseli National Park. Check into your pre-booked accommodation, have a leisurely lunch, and later an afternoon game drive to see lots of bush elephants, cheetahs, lions, birds, etc.

After a hot cup of tea/coffee, leave the lodge for day 3 of 10 days Kenya + Bwindi safari to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru N/Park is one of the most sought for birding destinations in Kenya and East Africa when it comes to flamingos. But it also refuges a range of other wildlife including leopards, waterbucks, buffaloes, reedbucks, warthogs, 400 bird species etc. You will have an afternoon/evening game drive to see diversity of wildlife in Lake Nakuru N/Park.

Take a hefty breakfast, leave afterward for Nairobi. Drive via Lake Naivasha for an exciting boat ride and later, your Kenya safari guide will drop you off at the airport for your flight to Entebbe International Airport (EBB)-Uganda. Find a Uganda safari guide waiting to pick up you from Entebbe to be dropped off to the hotel for overnight stay in Kampala, Uganda.

Rise up early for breakfast, drive to Bwindi on day 8 of 10 days Kenya + Bwindi safari. Bwindi National Park is 8-9 hours’ drive and you will hit the road starting from Kampala, via Mbarara to Kabale in Southwestern Uganda. This includes a stop visit at Equator crossing, lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara, Uganda before proceeding to Bwindi.

Enjoy a heavy breakfast back at your lodge on day 9 of the 10 days Kenya + Bwindi National Park. Carry some snacks, bottled water for your actual gorilla trek, get briefed about gorilla trekking rules in Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo, and Rushaga sectors. You will be trekking any of the 20 Bwindi N/Park’s gorilla families with the park guide starting at 8:00 am. The trek to find mountain gorillas often takes from 2-6 hours less or more and it includes a complete 1 hour of a close encounter with a habituated gorilla family. Retreat afterward, enjoy afternoon relaxation and then visit the Batwa community to interact with the Batwa pygmies.
